The 2019 pandemic accelerated early retirements among experienced laboratory professionals, and in the years that followed, online training for Medical Laboratory Scientists gained momentum. These shifts have left many laboratories navigating challenges such as those listed below:

• Lack of experienced laboratory leadership: Many organizations promote talented laboratory professionals into leadership roles without sufficient preparation.
